Greenheart Timbers

Greenheart (Ocotea rodiaei) is prized worldwide for its inherent natural durability and strength. Used extensively in marine construction in all waters for its high resistance to marine borers and fungi attack. Ernest Shackelton's boat the Endurance was specifically sheathed in Greenheart for its Antarctic voyage. We at DMG Hardwoods are now stocking a wide range of sizes.
